Diabliss is pleased to welcome Dr Arun Chockalingam to its advisory board. His addition to the board strengthens Diabliss’ resolve to provide innovative low GI products to diabetics. A few of Dr Chockalingam’s honours include being a world renowned public health practitioner and Secretary General of the World Hypertension League.
Dr Chockalingam is passionate about global health research, particularly on non-communicable disease prevention and control in low-and middle-income countries. He has established research collaborations in China, India, Germany, etc.

DR. VENKAT MANOHAR PH.D ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER
Dr Venkat Manohar is currently the Director of Indian Institute of Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry (IICMS). He has been practicing analytical science over a period of more than 40 years at various multinational companies after obtaining Ph.D. in Physics from University of Madras. Prior to this present assignment, he has been Senior Vice President in Piramal Life Sciences Limited (PLSL), Mumbai for the past six and half years, responsible for setting up the entire analytical facility for drug discovery research as well as a diagnostic research laboratory.
Dr. Manohar was responsible for setting up Measurement Science facility at Bangalore which involved applications of analytical tools for studies in Tea Science, Food products, Soaps, detergents and allied consumer products.
At Searle (India) Ltd, (now RPG Life Science Ltd), as a Senior Manager, Dr. Manohar was responsible to set up analytical facility in the research centre where he extensively used GC/MS, NMR, HPTLC and other tools for Agrochemical applications such as pesticide analysis in addition to pharmaceutical analysis.
Dr. Manohar has received several awards for his contributions in analysis over the past four decades. He is a member of Method Review Committee of FSSAI. He has more than 70 publications and 6 patents to his credit.

MR. V.R. RAMANATHAN CEO, MANAGING DIRECTOR
V.R. Ramanathan is the CEO and Managing Director of Diabliss Consumer Products Private Limited.
He also serves as the CEO of Electron India and has been involved in manufacturing since 1974. He has been involved in the manufacture of photoelectric cells and electronic head for fuel pumps at retail outlets. For the last 12 years, he has involved in the manufacture of RFID-related products for physical access, logical access, vehicle access & tracking, asset tracking, and e-cash solution on smart cards.
Ramanathan has been working on Diabliss herbal treated sugar since 2011 in all aspects of animal & human safety testing, long term subject trials, product testing, derivative products development.
He holds a BE degree in Electronics Engineering from the Guindy College of Engineering, Chennai.
DR. V. RAJALAKSHMI CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
Dr. V. Rajalakshmi pursued her studies in traditional Indian Medicine (Traditional Siddha)for 13 years from the years 1986 to 1999, winning innumerable awards during her academic studies. She further pursued advanced studies in Naturopathy, Cosmetology and Aroma Therapy.
After years of academic research in traditional Indian herbal systems relating to Food Science, Nutrition, Human Health, Naturopathy, Skin & Beauty Care, Dr. Rajalakshmi founded M/s Thejas Naturopathy in 1996 to deliver outstanding 100% herbal-based beauty, skin and hair care products. She has delivered outstanding results for hundreds of the most difficult hair and skin care problems to clients across the world.
Dr. Rajalakshmi was associated with Diabliss since 2011. With her experience of over 30 yrs in Siddha systems coupled with a modern scientific approach towards food & nutrition, she formulated the world’s first low glycemic index cane sugar and derivative products. She further extended the technology and successfully formulated products across all carbohydrate platforms. Dr. Rajalakshmi is extending her vast experience with herbal systems to currently formulate products across the complete range of metabolic disorders. She was appointed as whole time director in Diabliss in 2017, followed by her appointment as Chief Technology Officer in 2018.
MR. SHIV VALLABHANENI CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Mr. Shiv Vallabhaneni is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Diabliss Consumer Products Pvt Ltd. Shiv is a senior leader who has consistently delivered bottom-line results through operational excellence, strategic planning, and world-class capabilities development. He has 25 years of experience in M&A, Strategic Planning, eCommerce, Supply Chain Management, Logistics & Distribution, Six Sigma, Financial Management, Information Technology, Research & Development in Chemicals, Mining & Minerals, Polymers, Packaging & Industrial Polymers and FMCG.
Shiv successfully architected and turned around performance at three multi-billion dollar global organizations through operational excellence, profitable growth, and asset & business optimization. As a strategic Advisor to Chairman, President and Executive Coach to Operational Leadership teams for multi-billion dollar global manufacturer. Business and Financial Management responsibilities for a $2 billion/year global enterprise with operations spanning four continents and 3,500 employees.
At Diabliss, Shiv successfully commercialized the world’s first low glycemic index cane sugar and derivative products and implemented all aspects of R&D, clinical trials, organizational development, commercial strategies, product launch, and sales & marketing strategies. He is responsible for all aspects of start-up including strategic planning, product launch, intellectual property strategy, technology development and operational strategies.
He is the holder of two worldwide patents. He holds a B Tech in Chemical Engineering from Andhra University and M. S. in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University, USA.
DR. ARUN CHOCKALINGAM M.S, PH.D ,FACC, FAHA ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER
Dr. Arun Chockalingam currently serves as Professor of Epidemiology, Medicine, and Global Health at the University of Toronto, Canada, and a Special Advisor on Global Health to the Dean of Health Sciences at York University, Toronto. He was previously the founding Director of the Office of Global Health at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). In this capacity, he established 11 Centres of Excellence in Cardiovascular and Pulmonary research in 10 developing nations including India (at Bangalore and Delhi).
Dr Chockalingam’s career span includes: as the Director of Global Health at University of Toronto, as the founding Director of Global Health at Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, Canada where he introduced graduate degree programs (MPH & PhD) in Global Health for the first time in Canada; as the Associate Director for cardio-respiratory health research institute of the Canadian medical research funding Agency (CIHR); as Health Advisor to the Minister of Health, Government of Canada; and as Associate Professor of Epidemiology and Community Health at Memorial University of Newfoundland.
Dr. Chockalingam received an under graduate degree (B.E.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy, University of Madras; a Master of Science degree (M.S.) in Biomedical Engineering from the IIT, Madras, and earned his doctoral degree (PhD cum laude) in Cardiac Physiology and Pharmacology from Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada.
Dr Chockalingam’s experience encompasses a unique combination of global health research, policy, training, and administration in addition to international leadership within the global health community. He has published over 180 papers 11 book chapters and 2 books.
